Goal & Objectives

To provide an overview of the pharmacologic treatment options for the cognitive symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease.

At the completion of this program, participants will:
1.  Analyze the role of the cholinesterase inhibitors in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. 
2.  Recognize the commonly used rating scales that are utilized in assessing cognitive status in Alzheimer’s disease. 
3.  Understand the pharmacoeconomic impact of Alzheimer’s disease on society.
