Goals

To provide attendee’s with an overview of the critical role the pharmacist plays in issues relating to bioterrorism and disaster management.

Objectives
  1. Review the agents used in germ warfare and treatment options.
  2. Discuss the Federal Response Plan and the National Disaster Medical System
  3. Define the role of the pharmacist in a emergency/disaster situation.
  4. The National Pharmaceutical Stockpile: What's in it? What's it for? How will it affect a local pharmacist?
